Darkness binding
and fate untwining
sadness bellows
a song confining
Worlds of wishes
and prayers unheard
legend beckons
the unwilling herd
Can you hear it
calling your ilk?
don’t ignore it
soft as silk
Sweat beads
the innocent plead
drink mead
and forget
Well, I wrote this for a polish girl who I was interested in at the time. Turned out she was rude/inconsiderate and frankly a snobby bitch.
My only regret is that this poem was wasted on her.
Tea and wine;
She wets both cups, I try to balance them.
Swimming, it’s brighter at night
and the wind’s current on your neck
ripples your skin, except
where her hand calms.
An uneasiness of trials only her
shimmering eyes will cure.
Embodying confidence,
filling you with rhythm, until
her fascination is captivated
by something else.
Left becomes right, and
right, becomes up, but
you manage the road.
Even at distance.
She’ll smile, look
up and,
kiss me.
For an artist I follow, whom I once knew, but screwed everything up with because of my lack of self-confidence.
Well, here we are in the same room
I have my writings and you, your pictures
I can show you with my words
You can tell me with your camera
You stand in one corner, and I in the other
Although on the same wall
I watch you work, influence of another
And I’m barely a shadow
I don’t care, well, I kind of mind
Sometimes I want tell you how beautiful your art
Sometimes I’m afraid if I talk you’ll roll your eyes
And twist to consume my heart
I see what you like every day
And feel what you feel when expressed
We don’t speak because of me
I wish I hadn’t been such a mess

Chapter One
“Commander Marin C. Cador reporting!” Marin saluted upon entering the bridge but refused to break her stride. “Status.”
“Commander we are being waylaid by several frigates equipped with warp scramblers. Shields are at 80% and falling. Some sort of new ammunition, I’ve never seen anything like it.”
“Fleet status.”
“The fleet remains in the Nerexus system, zero activity.”
“Thank you Captain.”
“Commander.”
“Operator, lock seven targets and give me ship scans.”
“Commander, shields have dropped to 30 percent.”
“I’m well aware Captain, Operator?”
“Commander, I have four locks and no scans, we can’t get past their electronic countermeasures.”
